About Me.

Hi, I'm Molly Bowen a Public Relations student at Georgia Southern University. I have a passion for curating the perfect event and helping others communicate to their highest level. Inspiration for me drives from everyone and everything around me. Starting my first year at Georgia Southern I joined the Panhellenic Community by becoming a member of the Phi Mu chapter. Since joining and completing three years I have taken on numerous leadership roles, and I have gained multiple skills that will help me enhance my future profession. My most recent leadership position was the Vice President of Recruitment where I was able to help execute over 15 events and host over 1,000 guest in our Chapter Home. Taking the skills from that experience I have gained meaningful communication, crisis problem solving, and maintaining the creative idea. I enjoy taking on new roles and learning from everyone around me in a high pressure situation. I hope to take these skills into my future career.

Thank you for taking the time to read my bio.

Rolling the Credits

I hosted an event within a group project where we were able to curate the night. I wanted to include my own expertise on the details. This is the crucial aspect when hosting an event with a specific schedule, guest speakers, and sponsors/donors.

This assignment was completed in May of 2025 during my Event Management course.

Common Arts End-of-The Year Ceremony

As a team member in a group project we were able to curate a ceremony to increase the awareness of the Communication Arts end-of-year ceremony among Georgia Southern Communication Arts students. As a group of students we chose the objective to increase the attendance of non-faculty alumni at the event by 3 alumni. We included a concise budget, attendance, and event flow. In conclusion we looked at the positives and negatives after the event had occurred. This assignment was completed in May of 2025 during my Event Management course.

News Release

In this controversial and highly talked about topic of the rise in weight loss drugs. I uncovered the impact the GLP-1 receptor has on our young adult community on the Georgia Southern Campus. A heartwarming and inspiring piece about the Soup Kitchen located at Statesboro First United Methodist Church. The impact this event has had on the Statesboro community is immeasurable. Having served this community for over 25 years with outpouring love and respect to their citizens shows the devotion each of them have in making this world more comfortable for each person. "Challenging Dominant American Ideologies : An Ideological Criticism of Kendrick Lamar’s 2025 Super Bowl performance" I created this research paper in October 2025, in the class COMS 3338: Rhetorical Criticism, to understand the carefully curated performance from this performer.
